Yahoo Sports published its Week 8 fantasy football free-agent report focused on individual defensive players (IDP) on Tuesday, 27 October 2026. The report is aimed at fantasy managers who stream or add defensive players from the waiver wire as the season moves into its eighth week.
The piece is part of Yahoo Sports' ongoing fantasy football coverage. Its IDP format addresses leagues that roster individual defenders rather than team defenses, a setup that requires managers to track weekly free-agent options on that side of the ball.
The report's publication was noted as a trending sports item on Tuesday. Beyond the headline and its stated focus, further details of the report were not available in the source summary.
Fantasy managers in IDP leagues will be watching for how the recommended additions perform in Week 8 and whether they hold roster value beyond the coming week.
